Without the SharePoint 2013 eDiscovery Center preservation and collection capabilities, the native Exchange 2013 system lacks critical centralized discovery and compliance functionality present in the majority of enterprise archives, such as matter level searches and productions. Office 365 customers have had access to the new eDiscovery Center, and eDJ has seen many corporations delaying on premise upgrades of Exchange 2010 to the new 2013 architecture to evaluate options to migrate to cloud based email such as Office 365 and Google Vault.
